Sunday... day 1 on new web site
Where to begin? I guess it's always best to begin at the beginning...
Previous to this site and for many years I have had a homestead web page by the name of "From Dawn to Dusk"... and another named, "Bailey's Cove"... and a few other miscellaneous ones. However, due to a family member's illness, I haven't journaled or visited any of these sites for over a year. I certainly missed journaling and reading others' journals, but family needs took priority.
But life goes on and I'm hoping to do the same. So today I start a new website called "Cats, Coffee, and Chocolate" for want of a cute catchy title that elludes me. These are my loves and my vices... if you don't include my three grandchildren who will be pictured throughout this website along with our 7 inside cats and 4 outside ones (I know, I know... unbelieveable and a little shameful, but what can you do?)

I will let all of you horrified animal lovers out there know that we're very good about keeping our pets healthy, well-fed, spayed, neutered, and vaccinated (at least the inside ones, the outside ones really aren't ours, but they come by daily for meals ... and carnation cream).
As for my other loves/vices... Coffee and Chocolate... my philosophy has always been, 'what is, is... and I can handle it'. It's worked for me through some very bad times and continues to do so today. After all, it could always be worse. And if you have to have some vices, these seem harmless enough?
I'm hoping to post some of my favorite espresso chocolate recipes on this site. So please feel free to come back and visit, brew up a fresh cup, and sit back and enjoy. Thanks for reading.
